Weight Loss Testimonials
"About four years ago I was at least 70 pounds over-weight (obese) and my weight, blood pressure and blood sugar just kept going up and up.
With the support of the staff, I was able to lose 60 pounds and cut my blood pressure medication in half. I haven’t had any issues with my blood sugar either.
I had tried all of the diets out there, I think, including the one in which I ate nothing but oranges and cottage cheese for a week (That one was especially memorable because of the stomach aches I had at the end of the week).
What was different about what I learned in my new “lifestyle”? Well, just that. Losing weight permanently is a lifestyle change. I had heard that, but didn’t know what it meant. Now, I believe I do. A”lifestyle change” means that you don’t stop and start eating a certain way. It means that you learn new ways of doing things that become, “This is the way I eat.” A lifestyle change should be about wanting to be healthier, not just about wanting to be thinner.
The staff helped me understand these things and put them into daily practice. They coached me through times when I reverted to old ways of thinking such as “I can’t have a happy life without potato chips.”
Change can be hard and I will always be grateful to Dr. Kemp and Kelly for seeing me through the changes!"

"When I met Kelly I was struggling with severe symptoms of Fibromyalgia. I was taking pain meds ever 3-4 hours. If I missed a dose I would end up in bed for days on end. I am a nurse and had to cut my hours back to working only 1 day a week. Any more than that and I was in too much pain. After two weeks on the plan I am no longer taking any pain pills. I had bought a dress to wear for my upcoming birthday and I was able to do that."

"Thank you to Kelly and staff for teaching me a healthy way to eat!! This was not a diet, but a new way of life. With Kelly’s coaching I was able to lose 14 pounds and reach my goal weight within 5 weeks."

"When I first came to Kelly, I wasn’t able to run 1/4 a mile, and now I am up to 5 miles in 70 minutes!
My other concern was my addiction to my sleeping pills (Lunesta) – I have been taking them for 2 1/2 years and finally I can sleep without them..the whole night through – yay!"
